So a report that has been cleared for public consumption the PM has decided not to publish.

Democracy requires transparency. It's a shameful act and I hope he is asked why he didn't publish it repeatedly.

It's fake patriotism when you defend a PM actions that are clearly undemocratic and then wrap yourself in the Union Jack and Poppies. All those servicemen who died didn't die for lies to be hidden.
No point in publishing any report, anti Brexit brigade won't believe it if it doesn't tell them what they want to hear.

So your solution is anarchy. You vote Tory admit it, its way easier than that word salad above.

It's Comrade Boris as he keeps Putins secrets. Why else hasn't he published the report?

RWR indeed.

How can you comment on not even knowing the full details and yet still think what you say has merit?

It was ready for public consumption - so tell me?
Dominic Grieve said that the reasons the report has not been published are 'entirely bogus'.

Apparently the report could not be published is 'because it needs to be scrutinised and rewritten for public consumption' -Grieve that is what his committee has done in full.

Dominic Grieve, chair of intelligence and security committee as well as being former attorney general is saying no10 and advisors are liars.

Well given Grieves experience he is best placed to know.

But brexiteers will just deny it......project fear.

I bet we will be seeing some dead cats coming to divert attention.

The Tory party under Boris has gone all hard right and in response Labour under Corbyn believes they must go out hard left. So the majority of people left in the middle really are in a bind. I think we need some policies from the left and right. 40 years of neo liberalism has left us with a binary choice - reject it totally or double down.

My ideal scenario is neither labour or the Torys win a majority because I don't believe either has a mandate to do what they propose. I wouldn't mind a Labour/SNP/Lib Dem pact to agree on a referendum on the deal and then move on with other business. I hope this is a message to the Conservative party that their hard right agenda has been rejected and they need to move back towards the centre where they belong.

I've been trying not to follow this, but a friend just posted:

Definitely nothing suspicious going on:
1) Russian sources have donated £450,000 to the conservative party in the last 12 months
2) Government is not answering quest about Dominic Cummings Russian Connections and the extent of his involvement with the Russian intelligence community
3) Johnson is spreading easily disproved lies in order to block the release of a report into Russian influence
Yeah... Definitely legit

I think that sums it up. It is scary that the adviser to the PM spent 3 years in Russia - Corbyn spends a day in a country that has never been our enemy and he's called a traitor; Cummings spends 3 years in Russia and nobody bats an eyelid. You do start to wonder whose side this government is on.

The press are to blame, it's time for Leveson part 2 which the current Gov scuttled and no doubt Labour would try push through. Press has become the plaything and manipulator of the elites which has lead people down alternative paths to find the truth leading them to the facebook bubble. Society is splittng when we should bring it together with press controls and controls on Facebook.

Lies need to be eradicated.
