Racism and oppression of black people has a long history in the Western world. Seriously long. The other is a handful of evil bast-ards who have preyed on vulnerable, failed by society white girls because they were easy pickings.

Now tell me, do those white girls, or any white girls in the UK walk down the street and get unkind comments, veils ripped off, perhaps spat at etc because of their skin colour?

I'd sooner hear (and act upon) the protests of the victims of armed robbers, but when do you ever hear them? One of the essential differences between left and right-wing thinking is that the right is about law and order, justice, peace etc, whilst the left only care abut the criminal.

What you're doing is generalising the behaviour of a subset of the BME population to the whole of the UK and saying that it somehow means they were responsible for the higher death rates. That's pretty much textbook racism, lazy racism rather than vicious but racism none the less.

But...

When the media report that a black person has been the perpetrator of a crime, the fact that he is black will often not be mentioned.

I’m not denying there’s a problem at all. There is a problem. There is a big racism issue in Newham where I used to live and still work. Park on a yellow line and within 10 minutes max, one of the many parking wardens that patrol the streets on scooters will be along and you’ll get a ticket. 20 minutes after that it’ll be towed. £250 to get it back from the pound. Quite rightly. However, go down any street that has a mosque in it on Friday afternoons and you’ll see one car parked wholly on the pavement, one car parked on double yellows and another car double parked on the double yellow. They never get tickets. May be a coincidence but I’ve never seen a white parking control officer either. Would you call that racism or positive discrimination?

BAME people have been enslaved, tortured, kept in captivity, murdered, beaten, spat upon, chased, denied access to housing, services, jobs, etc, incarcerated, lynched, executed,, for hundreds of years.
They're getting extremely peeved about it. They perceive that they are victims of racism. So they are protesting, again.
You want them to wait until a more convenient time arrives, some distant time in the future, for them to protest.

You've received a penalty for illegal parking, and you perceive you're a victim of discrimination.

Lloyd George had many faults but I'm not sure he had criminal convictions. Happy to be corrected if you have evidence.
