His favorite subject is every one is a racist

AFAIK he is involved with washing machine design or sales???

Razzler.Do not judge a man until you have walked in his shoes...V Apt for W Churchill.

Without Churchill we would be all speaking German, and I wonder how India would have done ruled by Hitler, I doubt they fitted in with his Aryan ideals.

Everyone in the world need to thank Churchill for the freedoms we now enjoy.

Thats overly simplistic and wrong.

Churchill was not the man who turned the war. Read some history.

Churchill was the leader we needed at the time, he was horrible during his other years, stop painting a hagiographic image of him.

Can anyone not see Churchill had as many supporters and detractors?

Why many?

Does that mean that you have many many posts and Notch7 many many many posts and JohnD many many many many many many many...……….
What's that thing you said to me the other day - something about taking something written and deliberately misquoting/twisting? Because you're doing it now. You're not addressing what I said, just using it to have another pop at JohnD and Notch and anyone else you may not like.

Get a sense of humour Ceres and please take a hint.

I agree he was no mother Teresa, and I would agree that in peace time he would not be the ideal leader, but we needed someone like him during those very dark days, someone ruthless enough to get the job done no matter what. As a nation, may be as a world we were lucky we had him to lead the war effort, so many other leaders would have capitulated in the face of the overwhelming German Third Reich. Churchill stood his ground.

Nonsense

How's that. You have pro winston and negative winston opinions... Are you really right all the time?
like i said , he doesn’t have an opinion , just wants to go against the grain with bumf he’s picked up on the documentary channel.

I haven't misquoted or twisted anything. I've asked you a direct question about an expression you used in your post. I'm curious to know why you used the words 'many posts' in relation to my posting history. I'm pretty sure I'm one of the least prolific of the current crop of GD contributors. I didn't feel the need to comment on how my posts make you feel. Your feelings are yours, I'm not about to change the way I post to accommodate your sensibilities.

Many, not as in volume but in many as in the amount that you write which are moaning & miserable. Just like you accuse JohnD of doing.

Please, don't change for my 'sensibilities' but get either a sense of humour or understand that you're being a hypocrite in complaining about others.
