Are you sure you mean "claim", rather than "seek"? Otherwise, it's a done deal , and the country would have no purpose for borders of it had no choice in the matter.....
Thing I love about this forum is the ability of the users to nitpick and try to make something out of nothing :) :)

So, you approve of men seeking asylum, but they must not bring their wives and children?
Already said that the world is going to pot because there's some women making decisions. So, probably not ok to bring the women!

The word you're looking for is "sliver".
Thanks, but it's also British slang:

If your family is at risk of being killed in a war torn country, or starving in a famine, and you have the means to pay for one of them to escape, do you choose the smallest, the oldest, the weakest?
Or do you pay for the strongest, the fittest to escape via people smugglers, in the hope that a) they will survive, or b) they will survive and possibly return with some means to support the family and rebuild the home, or c) possibly prosper and be able to send for other members of the family to join them, or d) send some money back home to help the family, or e) maintain the family line?
Or maybe a combination of any of those?

In my experience, it has been almost a religion for immigrants to send money home to their family, whether they can afford it or not.

No, bugger off and forget about the losers. Obviously.

It's not a myth, the Dublin regulation covers this.

The Dublin Regulation does not forbid refugees from claiming asylum in any country they wish. Neither does it forbid that country from granting it. Do you think it does?

Anyway, you'll be glad that dUK resigned, and the Dublin Regulation will cease to apply to us as a non-EU country.

Some Brexers say "UK has left the EU" which is true except that regulations and payments still apply until the end of the year, or such other date if our government can agree with the 27.

A bit like when you left school but continued going to classes, wearing your cap, paying fees, and eating school dinners. Everybody except you called it "still going to school."
