In fairness we are killing vast amounts of people with the pollution from our fossil fuel burning vehicles, and that is before we get onto the destruction that is on our doorsteps with global warming and climate change.

How many are we killing with pollution?
We are killing ourselves, so we're a bunch of fools.
So to save ourselves (life expectancy over 80 years in Europe, don't forget), we build prius using lithium and cobalt extracted by slaves who die very young and of an agonising death.

Apart from my Dad: My Mum my Wife and two girls (who are all female) they are most important people in my life so its not that Im sexist or anything.

untold millions with our over use of fossil fuels.

Agreed, Lithium and cobalt could be mined in a far better way than it is presently done. But even in the unpleasant way it is currently done, the environmental and humanitarian damage is just but a tiny fraction of the damage done by fossil fuels.
