Can't comment on the wider implications but as I may be working for a Swiss company next year, naturally I had to enquire as to what would change after the 31st. So accepted Switzerland is not in the EU but is part of the EEA, the answer I had from my accountants was, There won't be any impact, apart from the fact I'll definitely be outside IR35 (rather ill conceived HMRC construct)

Sanitary and phytosanitary controls
Transit documents
Customs declarations

Prices will go up.
