T. I'm not being rude or abusive. Sod, as she was known, (user name: sodthisforfun) was a lady poster on here who suddenly disappeared. I thought you were her, back under a different name.Bit harsh. But a typical and expected response given the abuse i’ve witnessed on other threads. The second anyone is challenged here it gets abusive.
So sad. I’ll not bother again.
Will stick to diy q’s like a good girl![]()
Preliminary analyses suggest that at least some vaccines are likely to have a transmission-blocking effect. But confirming that effect — and how strong it will be — is tricky because a drop in infections in a given region might be explained by other factors, such as lockdowns and behaviour changes. Not only that, the virus can spread from asymptomatic carriers, which makes it hard to detect those infections.
I’ve not read anywhere that any existing covid vaccine kills or blocks transmission, have you?
Someone disagreeing with your thoughts and beliefs doesn’t constitute a troll, yet when you get caught out (which you have been multiple times) you resort to name calling etc. So ask yourself who is the troll.I think it must be the Trolls refuge.
Well, I think we can all see from this that JTP is just a fabricator of facts. You really can’t take anything this poster says as truth.
Pathetic little troll.
What are you talking about,I choose to not have the vaccine for many reasons,It's an extremely selfish attitude, cowardly too and incredibly stupid. It has been confirmed to be safe millions of times over, prevents the worst of the symptoms and would seem to help prevent the spread, it doesn't hurt, SWMBO had it this morning, worked a full day and came home fine. She was scared stiff of needles, I have to take her and steady her as she had the jab. She came out with a smile on her face. John is obviously terrified of the jab maybe he needs someone to go with him? What other explanation is there?
Is this another of your my mates mums brothers, cousins, friends dads, sisters all work on the front line stories? My sons mate, same age as my son, 35, has a friend who is a copper and they had so many jabs that would have gone to to waste they were told to ask their friends. He got his jab yesterday.
You have had your second jab.So have I but even when I have my second jab, I’ll still treat others as if they have it - masks, social distancing, hand washing etc.
It tells me there’s idiots and bames even in the police forceIs this another of your my mates mums brothers, cousins, friends dads, sisters all work on the front line stories?
So many jabs left over you say?
What does that tell you Einstein?
True, but someone claiming to have spoken to their local landlord but won’t name the pub and keeps swerving the question is a sure sign of a troll on the back foot if ever I’ve seen one.Someone disagreeing with your thoughts and beliefs doesn’t constitute a trol
So what will you have gained? So have I but even when I have my second jab, I’ll still treat others as if they have it - masks, social distancing, hand washing etc.
I would have hopefully gained a chance of not dying or suffering long Covid if I caught it. Until it has died down to around the same level as flu, I’ll still take precautions in public spaces. Yes, I have the flu jab but if it was as transmissible as Covid, I'll be taking the same precautions and stay away from people with signs of flu as I haven’t heard of flu being asymptomatic. If there’s a year on year jab, I’d take it.So what will you have gained?
Btw, it's been reported that you'll have to have another 'booster this autumn for a 'new strain'...
"She (Dr Lawson) confirmed the NHS is now working on the basis that a “revaccination campaign” will begin later this year, with those already protected against Covid-19 given a booster shot tailored to tackle newer strains of coronavirus, such as the South African and Brazilian variants, which appear to be partially resistant to the existing jabs. This would run in parallel with the annual flu jab from October."
And probably a 'year on year' jab...
Did you treat the threat of flu similarly?
Jab or no jab?
I've found 93%. That's not low.Was ho
Uptake among NHS is surprisingly low particularly from BAME staff.
You might want to read your own first sentence.Preliminary analyses suggest that at least some vaccines are likely to have a transmission-blocking effect.
I’ve not read anywhere that any existing covid vaccine kills or blocks transmission, have you?
People who refuse a vaccine because they're idiots use up some of the margin needed by those who can't take it, or for whom it didn't work.Does your herd immunity theory only apply to people who are medically unable to be vaccinated or also the minority who refuse a vaccine on other grounds?
Fair enough...I would have hopefully gained a chance of not dying or suffering long Covid if I caught it. Until it has died down to around the same level as flu, I’ll still take precautions in public spaces. Yes, I have the flu jab but if it was as transmissible as Covid, I'll be taking the same precautions and stay away from people with signs of flu as I haven’t heard of flu being asymptomatic. In all honesty, can you say that you, your partner and your medic sons haven’t had a Covid jab and don’t plan to either?
