Pub passports?

Don't know, I'm not advocating them.

Don't know, I'm not bothered if you have the jab or not.

Fair enough. Perhaps my question about transmissability after vaccination would have been better aimed at the jab heroes. But your statement doesn't exactly make their case for passports. As said, it all sounds a bit vague and I don't think they should be introducing passports on assumptions, when these passports may make it very difficult for pubs and other businesses to re-establish themselves after the lockdowns. They've had enough hurdles over the last year. But then again, I wonder if the government wouldn't be happier to lose pubs altogether. They've certainly done nothing to help them since 2007 - the smoking ban.

So if there are zero deaths in the majority of areas in the uk yet we are still in lockdown.
No wonder you have minion in your name :sneaky:
You claim that there weren't, but won't say when or provide proof, if you check I haven't disagreed with that, I haven't looked and it's possible the daily reported deaths were zero for some regions for one or more days over the last few months. So far you've just dribbled a bit about how everyone else is livestock and tried to shrug off that you were making things up.

Which is fine, you're beyond hope, I'm just here to remind everyone that you're making things up.

it does make a difference. so your point is nonsense.
Genuine question as I’m intrigued.
But if as agreed the vaccine doesn’t stop you catching Covid and neither does it stop you transmitting Covid then what is the purpose of the vaccine?

It's not nonsense, JOhn. What is nonsense is people saying that vaccines don't prevent virus transmission, then saying they do.

At least I'm consistent. You're always calling Johnson all the names and rubbishing everything he does or says. It's "Tories this", "Buffoon that". But on the Government's disatrous handling and chicanery over Covid - you are a follower and swallow it all hook, line..........

Rather curious, wouldn't you say? Mr Double Standards.

It stops you dying of it, or being hospitalised. And also probably stops you catching it at all.

The chances of death are below 1%.
It won’t save my life.

since it greatly reduces the risk of the disease killing a protected person

it may save my life because I've had the jab

if you don't have the jab it won't save your life (the same can be said for a seat belt or a crash helmet that you refuse to wear) except insofar as there will be fewer ill people spreading the disease.

Much lower serious illness, much less people in hospital, much less deaths, pretty much like any other vaccine.

THE VACCINE DOES NOT STOP YOU CATCHING OR TRANSMITTING COVID.

YES IT DOES.

OK, what is a symptom of covid? Coughing.
How is it transmitted? By attaching to water droplets, that are spread by coughing.
What does the vaccine do? Stops the symptoms, such as coughing.

So, please explain, why the vaccine does not help stop it spreading?

Also, people who have had the vaccine are carrying antibodies, so if they do catch the virus, the viral load will be much smaller, and therefore, they will be far less contagious, even if they do cough.

Stick to the plumbing John, and take advice from the medical professionals. The vaccine works, the vaccine won't kill you. Keep wearing your mask.

What if a pub landlord wanted to introduce a passport system? Should they be allowed to?

Yes, called free choice. Same as the smoking ban should have always been.

We could have smoking pubs, and non-smoking pubs. Also vaccine delayers/antivaxer pubs and jab heroes pubs. Though the the last type would be a little boring with everyone sitting around sipping spritzers through masks and showing off the collection of puncture wounds on their arms. :ROFLMAO:

As The Yanks say - live free, or die.

Hasnt your beloved MSM told you the specific dates as to when there where no Covid deaths in the south west on a specific day, none in the south east on a specific day, none in the north east on a specific day, none in the west midlands on a specific day ,none in the east of England on a specific day .
I’m sure on one day there where no deaths what so ever in the south east, the east, the West Midlands,Yorkshire and Humber .

The same medical professionals who have openly stating that the vaccine doesn’t stop you catching Covid you mean lol neither does it stop you transmitting it.
