so with the housing crisis people keep bleating on about, the poor young cant afford to buy, but can magically rent at more than the cost of a mortgage.... people moaning about the countries existing infrastructure being unable to cope with the housing boom currently in progress, people moaning about green fields being built on left right and centre, no one wants their taxes to go up, but all want more and more, people want the migrants but not on there doorstep (same story with the house building), the hgv driver crisis meaning there is a food "crisis" currently on the go, brexit causing an even bigger crisis of food and medical supplies, building supplies crisis caused by all sorts...

but we have plenty of space and money to accept hundreds of thousands of migrants/asylum seekers at a whim.

its all a bit ruddy barmy at the minute

edit: this isn't a criticism of your post, just mentioning how barmy the world sounds at the moment
Much barminess arising because of the cognitive dissonance in the way people want one thing but vote for another.

A lot of these migrants are not as desperate as they make out.
They appear to be well resourced, a lot of them have expensive mobile phones and speak good English.
They phone their relatives on the way over to arrange to be picked up on arrival.
People living on the South coast of England have said they have witnessed mini buses waiting on the migrants to arrive.
Some of these people smuggling gangs operating in France act more like travel agents than the criminals they are.
Another point is where do these migrants get the money to pay for their trip across the channel.
These boat trips are not cheap, it reinforces suspicions that most of the illegals are economic migrants.

All caused by decades of neo liberal policies and vested self interest of Tories.
And all the numpties who vote for the Tories when that is so much not in their interests, lets not forget them.

if they weren’t desperate they wouldn’t risk their life crossing the channel.

if they weren’t desperate they wouldn’t risk their life crossing the channel.
But they are not desperate to escape persecution - the fact they are coming to the UK from safe countries proves that. They are desperate to get to the land of free healthcare, housing and benefits. In other words, economic migrants.

But it was not too loo late to stop voting for the _)*$)*%&s....

It's not just the conservatives that have cocked it up, labour have had their fair share of errors along the way.

Lib Dems have never offered anything the others havnt.

I like the greens locally, but nationally they had some ideas and policies that were a little ott.

There has been ample opportunity for government to undo the previous government legislation

untrue, that’s not the reason they come here.

it’s been pointed out many times on here.
you really are unable to absorb facts

There’s plenty of home grown people in dire straights through no fault of their own.
How many of them have never voted Tory?

How many of them have never put money into the coffers of Tory-supporting newspapers?

How many of them have never popped up on internet forums regurgitating the pro neo-liberal, pro-Tory lies theyve been brainwashed into believing? Or all the culture war b****cks theyve been persuaded matter more than real things which actually matter for real?

I've no idea. Do you?
