Good News on Vaccines and Delta Variant

Good grief.

It appears the brave new world is here and the minions seem to wallow in it - or

you must be being paid to promote such a totalitarian philosophy.

Give my regards to President Xi.

oh dear, you are sounding more like John the plumber every day

Lame jabber argument...

Should a seatbelt fail you have unlimited legal comeback...

Should you get a serious/fatal reaction to something jabbed into your body that if it were mandatory you or your family have very limited options...

Care to explain why?
its a pandemic......we dont have 25 years to wait until you deem its safe.

You still havent been able to say how you have decided the risk of vaccine side effects is higher than the risk of getting ill from covid.

Oh thats right -because you cant, youve just decided on a hunch

So you admit you argument: "we dont know the long term side effects of the vaccine"
is a totally meaningless -youve worked out the probability is low, so can other people.
Yes, it's a gamble as at my age the disease is likely to be very bad.

If someone younger decides differently - or heaven forbid disagrees with you - that is up to them.

Why was it necessary to grant the manufacturers indemnity before releasing the vaccine?

Presumably enough for them to release the vaccine without the usual amount of testing.

Yes, for emergency use. I can see why that might be useful, and the practise was mentioned as long ago as the The Human Medicines Regulations 2012. It isn't a new concept.

I can see why it might be useful and you can't, if I understand you correctly.

I mentioned the other day that the AZ vaccine technology is almost 50 years old. That's one of the reasons they were developed quickly. The techniques are well understood and have been tested widely.

Or maybe the Chinese developed the antidote before or while making the virus.

So, how did you do it?
I just looked at the millions suffering a slow suffocating painful death and thought that a harmless vaccine is a doddle compared to that.
You would need to be a moron not to take it.

P.S.

I have never queried what is in paracetamol, the flu vaccine, the MMR vaccine or any other drugs I have taken. Bonkers eh.

hello,

what's this I've found?

"An Associated Press analysis of available government data from May shows that “breakthrough” infections in fully vaccinated people accounted for fewer than 1,200 of more than 107,000 COVID-19 hospitalizations. That’s about 1.1%.

And only about 150 of the more than 18,000 COVID-19 deaths in May were in fully vaccinated people. That translates to about 0.8%, or five deaths per day on average."

Preliminary data shows 99.5% of COVID-related deaths in Texas were among unvaccinated people, according to the Department of State Health Services."

Trumpists, eh?

"In recent weeks, one piece of data has gotten a lot of attention: 99.5% of all the people dying from COVID-19 in the U.S. are unvaccinated."

"We are two researchers who work in public health and study immunity, viruses and other microbes. Since the start of the pandemic, public health experts have been concerned about what might happen if large sections of the U.S. population, for whatever reason, did not get vaccinated. Over the past few weeks, the answer to that question is starting to emerge."

"States with low vaccination numbers had Covid-19 case rates last week 3 times higher than others where people are fully vaccinated"

"Alabama, Mississippi and Arkansas are the only states to have fully vaccinated fewer than 35% of their residents. Average daily case rates in each state were among the 10 worst in the country last week."
