Mass shooting in Plymouth!

Do you think it’s hard to find proof that Tories have cut mental health care?

Or any other service…..

No, I want proof that certain posters on here have been whooping for joy over cuts to the mental health system, which is what Galahad suggested.
Do you think that would be hard?

Your starter for ten.

275 Police-recorded murders involving a knife or sharp instrument in the 12 months to March 2020.

Presumably, by transom's logic ALL knives should now be banned.

doubt that would be possible tbh

one could say the same about many other items shovels and spades
Screwdrivers
Base ball bats
Cricket bats

all no doubt have been used as a weapon at some point

firearms are a totally different scenario

they are designed to kill or harm that is there only purpose

Suicide bombers pack their explosives into rucksacks. We need to ban rucksacks.

If they didn't have rucksacks to pack their explosives into then we wouldn't have any suicide bombers would we?

If you think banning guns is the answer then you are very much mistaken, & I thank the God's that if your thought patterns are this limited then there is little chance of you ever being in a political position of power to be able to influence any vote.

They are, just like Bows and Arrows. We don't bother banning them because there aren't enough ills associated with their sporting use that banning them completely is justified.

'Practical Shotgun' is a sport, but having been to a range shooting next door to them I do wonder if it should be allowed. It's hardly clay pigeon shooting or target shooting.

Professional use, for example in pest control, is also slightly different. Sometimes you need a tool designed to kill things.

So which guns are not designed to kill than

flare gun
A carving knife isn't designed to kill, but it would do a pretty good job.

It's straightforward really, just don't give gun licences to angry nutters.

What does a "fruit cake" look like ? , and not this type

are you an American ??
No.

The situation in America is ludicrously out of control. Nobody would want to see the UK become like that.

The question is to what extent innocent law-abiding people should have their hobbies taken away, their livelihoods closed down, because the police dont do what the law requires of them.

Fully working

Culper Precision said in a statement that it had chosen to release the Block19 in an attempt to show that guns were "for everyone"

"It is illegal in the US to produce a children's toy that precisely resembles a real gun, but the laws do not explicitly prevent manufacturers from making a gun that resembles a toy."

Totally bonkers!
