Apologies if I sound like a dinosaur but what does it mean in an email signature after a name that is a female sounding name when it has this - (She/Her). I’ve never seen it before - is it a new thing? Should I be having (He/Him) after mine?

When I was living and working in USofA everyone was addressed as 'Guy' or Guy's; not enamored with American phrases of that ilk, so I try to address a group ont' web as Chaps or Folks - just can't work out which one is the least offensive..? Thoughts?
