He was wrong when he claimed the spike protein was somehow toxic, but even if he wasn't he missed the point that you don't get that protein if you have the Pfizer vaccine.

So perhaps he is. There's a depressing line of top notch scientific minds losing the plot as they get older. Which is why science doesn't rely on people, it relies on data.

If I may, can I just clarify whether science relies on people or data?
Interesting numbers in this weeks report. Hospital entry pretty steady at 7.5% / 100,000. ICU/HDU about 0.6% / 100,000.
At the last peak same numbers ~35% / 100,00 and ~2.5% /100,000
PCR Positivity levels is not far short of what it was in the last peak ~16% compared with ~15%
So vaccination achieves nothing. All a myth.
However people in hospital is increasing indicating some taking over a week to recover. Rate maybe 1/2 what it was at the start of the peak - or something like that. People take longer than a week to die most of the time so it usually takes up to a month to find out what happens to people in the end.
The expert - quote. A fame seeking liar in other words. The break though in using mRNA does not lie at his door. mRNA technology has been around for years. Delivering it effectively is relatively new, usually put down to a lady and a German Turk.

Which is pretty bad but not near the peak for either wave 1 or 2. It is high enough to show that it is likely to be a significant under estimate. The ONS weekly survey will be more accurate in that case.
