The French

Yet significantly different culture and outlook on the world.
Why because there food is slightly different, and they get drunk far leas, and they speak a different language, and they use a different currency?
But both have lost an empire, more or less at the same time, both countries suffer from the pull of the centre (France-Paris, UK-London), which causes regional envy, both are struggling with accommodating large immigrant populations, both rely on the service sector in their economies, etc.

There's much more that contributes to national characteristics than pure genetic ethnicity.
Someone very recently said, just last week, I believe, something about there being more that unites us, that binds us, etc... Now who was that?
In fact there is a part of France called Britany due to the influx of Britons. Calais was the last are of France to be ruled by Britain, I believe about half of France was ruled by and from Britain at one time. Many of the migrants into UK are from France and its many regions and colonies. I believe the largest group of French outside of France is in London.
I believe we share common ancestry.
etc, etc.

Bit suspicious being so new but knowing your history...
I might be a newbie, but I wasn't born yesterday. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
The Austrian sympathy for Nazi Germany is well documented in history. In fact some modern day Austrian politicians were Nazi sympathisers. One was even Secretary-General of the United Nations for a time.
Waldheim had ... sought election as President of Austria in 1971, but his second attempt on 8 June 1986 - 1992 proved successful.

the United Nations War Crimes Commission concluded after the war that Waldheim was implicated in Nazi mass murder

Being aware of any potential parental influence on transam by his panzer driving Austrian relatives, and his duplicitous and disingenuous behaviour on here, not to mention his continual promotion of hatred against minority groups, and his persistent reference to 'slinging into prison', or 'out of the country' of any group with whom he disagrees, and his willingness to resort to military conflict at the drop of a hat, and his entrenched hatred of foreigners, I'd say he was a prolific promoter of hatred on social media, at a guess.

In fact, despite his claim to be disinterested in politics, I'd say he was further right than General Galtieri

 General galta wat sit
That's the one, the one that slung into prison all those he disagreed with, who then disappeared.
Kind of like your proposal.

so you hate Austrians who cares
Not at all true. I love Austrians who care.
I do abhor those Austrian Nazis who subscribe to and sympathise with Nazi political doctrine and behaviour. They're selfish and only care for themselves.

They were not the only ones by the look of it. The British even armed their enemies.:eek:
Britain backed loans for millions of pounds to some of the world’s most notorious dictators to spend on arms. Britain financed exports to military regimes in Egypt, Indonesia, Burma, Sudan, Iraq, Ecuador, North Korea and even guaranteed loans for the Argentina junta to buy British weapons in the run up to the Falklands War, figures released by the British government show.
