A new dishwasher. Ordered a Hotpoint as the Hotpoint that has just packed up has been used daily and lasted for 21 years! £369 at AO.com but buying from AO.com through Ebay I got 15% off so £313.65. Result!

I bought another kilo of silver, and 5 litres of cheap (£13) engine oil. No idea if it's a coincidence, but SWMBO's car is using a bit since going onto E10 fuel.

A crab for my tea. Normally get a dressed one but they didn't have any so I thought I'd do it myself. What a faff! Shell was flying everywhere, the dog was mooching, I got hardly any meat from it, Mrs Mottie was screaming....honestly, you'd have thought I'd bought a poison Japanese puffer fish!
