Somebody, somewhere will test it. But its not redundant its capability based (I think thats what you meant anyway). They are no longer able to perform the duties of the job.

They are claiming that employees are, in effect, making themselves redundant by refusing the vaccine.

..It reads not as redundancy in the usual meaning, rather they will be putting themselves out of their jobs, so no dole money either. Serves 'em right. Bet the 10% falls to 1% quite rapidely.

A neighbour works at a GP's surgery. While she had no objections she was told she must have them and due to were she worked age didn't matter.

In terms of the hospital end of things the media do not seemed to have turned up anyone who says they wont have jabs. Just one that says they are reluctant and with a reason - they have had it and another rather small group taking selfies and wearing a blue ribbon. Some in the crowd would probably be sympathisers and passers by.

Typical covid - what ever will happen will.

Not legally though. My early view that it would be redundancy was before I read the legislation. People do things every day that result in them getting sacked. drugs, drink driving, smoking inside etc. theft etc.. laziness, external personal pressures etc. they don't lose benefits as a result.

They have until 3rd of February I think?

They were given a simple, easy option to continue in there employment - an essential jab, if they refuse, they have resigned.
Stop your idiotic foolish nonsense ffs.
Sick Gloating old bigot.
They will face dismissal . Which means the nhs will have to SACK thousands of people.

That does seem to be ~ correct but if some show willing maybe a bit of relaxation if they take one agreeing to the other. There is also the have had covid aspect. Not sure why but jabs will only be given 4 weeks later. Some one on the box mentioned that so assume it is the rule. I do know they ask before giving a jab which ever one it is.Saving vaccine doesn't sound to be a sensible reason. Many are by appointment.

LOL Giving people long time to get used to something or the other isn't that unusual.
