Alternative to scaffolding (self assembly)

Still struggling to find a builder who I trust to repoint my house abutment.

Am considering completing the work myself wonder what I could rent (self-assembly) that will work, there is a garage roof to overcome. It's a couple of meters away from the corner of the house at the back.

I can't see how tower scaffolding with the supporting legs would work. What should I be looking at?

Yeah am quite concerned about the time it will take to put up and getting it right, can you still hire the simpler H shaper towers I've seen and scaffold boards?

I'd be happy doing that off a DIY tower suitably strapped to the wall. Check the roof joists first. On my garage they were only 4x2 so I propped the loaded area from below as well.
