The UK took 3 weeks the EU took 30 years to strike this deal.
Again, if true, that just about sums up your attitude to Britain. Its a wonder you’re still here too.
Still has to be ratified by member states, that could be another 10 years.

Brexit was never about trade. The subsequent trading problems are due to EU intransigence.

The EU are currently blockading goods travelling from Russia to Kaliningrad, the Russian enclave separated from Russia by Lithuania. Olaf Scholz is calling for the EU and Lithuania to relax these restrictions and allow Russia to move goods through the EU single market to Kaliningrad because because it's all part of their country.
At the same time Scholz wants tougher restrictions on the movement of goods between mainland Britain and NI (which is all part of the same country).

Probably because when the UK was in the EU it blocked deals due to conflicting interests with the commonwealth...
