Widespread violence in west midlands

It's already spread to Smethwick.

Maybe the Hackney Massive will come out in sympathy and liberate some nice new trainers and widescreen tvs for the bruddas. :)

For The UK, this is just the beginning.

Not worth commenting any further.

A fraction of the arrests seen after football matches.

If they were football supporters they may be kettled and bludgeoned if they so much as look at a police Alsatian the wrong way. However, when the religion of peace were desecrating wreaths at The Cenotaph few years ago, police were nowhere to be seen. It's their cultural sensibilities, you see.

All the more sickening when you have seen the heavy handed treatment white female protestor have been given by the same police

Some can't get their geography right
Leicester is a city, unitary authority and the county town of Leicestershire in the East Midlands of England. It is the largest settlement in the East ...

The violence has been caused by Far right groups like Hindutva which have developed since Narenda ModI took power in India.

Look at who he is and who he is like:

“Narendra Modi, Donald Trump, Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson: all these international figures have one thing in common, their thirst for increased capitalist ventures. Ongoing Tory government policies have been beneficial to only one group of people: the rich. With their insidious drive to fill in their pockets and those of their friends”

Right-wing fake news propaganda is rarely aimed at firing up football supporters. They don't need firing up to crate chaos.
Whereas these inter-ethnicity problems are being fomented by right-wing groups posting fake news on social media.
It's very possible that some of this fake news is generated by white right-wings activists.
DIYnot makes no attempt to stop this from the usual suspects.

On Wednesday night, faith leaders issued a warning that the current unrest, apparently fuelled by disinformation circulating on social media, “will spread all over Britain”.

Outside interference has been mentioned as well - people who just turned up in Leicester. It seems the crowd in B'ham were going to listen to a speaker.

The title of this thread suggests spec is a Sun reporter or one of the other similar rags.

Hint - you won't see any of this in Krakow, Ljubljana , Talinn or Riga.
Have you been to any of those places?

I've been to three of them, and there are areas that the locals avoid...

Because there are many evenings where streets are full of violent drunken animals...

Many of them Brits on stag do's, because all four are on cheap easyjet/ryanair routes!

I guess you missed this then?

"The UK police said on Tuesday that they have made 47 arrests as part of an ongoing operation to deter further disorder in the eastern England city of Leicester, which saw scenes of violence over the weekend."

Arrested as a deterrent!

Maybe they were doing something, maybe not...

But then ethnic minorities are used to being innocent victims of plods racist bias in it's use of 'stop and search'!

Is there anywhere in UK that football related violence is not commonplace?

'[Fan behaviour] has definitely got worse'

It follows recent comments by England internationals Jordan Henderson and Eric Dier, who both say there is an issue with fan behaviour at football.

There is an epidemic of coke users in England and it is the reason the kids are killing each other in the cities and is also the reason football violence is increasing. Pubs have always been violent places but not as violent as nowadays

Is this from the same source as your imaginary graphs?

Do you think stop and search in London would be a good thing to deter knife crime, and if it does seem a good thing, who do you think is most likely to be stopped, and for what reason?
Can I assume you are a fan of racial profiling?

A process of course which in itself fuels anger and resentment which then can turn into a violent reaction!

People are often too ready to look at the symptom, not the cause!

Have you ever been stopped driving a car (repeatedly) and told the reason is 'because you are not in your area'?

A black friend of ours has had that many times, but of course after insisting it was written on the 'stop sheet' invariably it was recorded as 'driving erratically'!
