Despite what some are saying, it’s not all growth and prosperity in the EU.

I have a question..

Is it done. All sorted. This is how it will be?

Some say brexit hasn't started and will take the next 20 years to sort out.
Others say its done.
I do read up online occasionally regarding, but from what I see everyone has moved on. Forgot about it. Not interested.
More interested in Ukraine, economy and the jungle.
They only difference I've encountered is when I post items to southern Ireland which I've had to stop.
There have certainly been some opportunities created and lost. But nothing is ever "done". The structure of the EU will be different in 10 years, as will our relationship.

This is an interesting article although it's an opinion piece it's printed by the guardian and written by the guardians own economics editor

It flies in the face of what many spout on here.
Interesting piece. Days after Labour definitely announce they won't try to rejoin, but want to make the best of it, this article appears.

It is worth noting the points notch made and also in that piece, he was unable to point out any actual benefits. And flies in the face of the OBR reports.

Just an article to lay the ground to get behind Starmer in my opinion.

I will wait for the benefits, but agree we have to get on with it. We are out, regardless.

The U.K. doing badly will always be a cock stroking pleasure for some on this forum.
brexers have been whining about the UK doing badly for decades.
of course, they blamed the EU, instead the the cause of the problem: Tories.

so they voted for Tories to fix the problem caused by Tories…..not surprisingly it’s not going well.

I see you're not refuting my post then. Used up many tissues lately? :ROFLMAO:

Brexiteers just don't get it that they are the ones that want the UK to do badly...

Even though they admit that they want the pain!

And funny how they also get that same pleasure from hoping that the EU fails...

Care to tell us why, cock stroker in chief?

Again, Like Notch, I see you're also not refuting my post. Carry on.

Interesting piece
It's a bit warped. The OBR have taken a closer look at it. In real terms they reckong it has reduced GDP by ~4%. Rather different to some comments. However one aspect had been forgotten. Export and import both ways are through customs channels, It's likely to get more complicated if standards are changed.

Anyway all irrelevant. Perhaps some have forgotten we are no longer in the EU. People who point out that we are having problems due to that are not cock stroking - only the stupid people who are posting that sort of thing are doing that. Fact folks some things have suffered because we are out. Get over it. It's done.
