HAmas has been designated a terrorist organisation by Israel, USA, UK and a few other western nations.
UN have not designated Hamas as terrorists.

As Vinty has said, one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.
It all depends on your personal politics. And the designating of an organisation as terrorist is a political ploy.
Just like accuisng someone of supporting Hamas, when they have not made any commenst supporting Hamas, is a political ploy, a dishonest one, but poliitcal none the less.

If the designating of an organisation as terrorist was not a political ploy, some Israeli/Zionist orghanisations would still be claaified as terrorists.

They are both in the wrong, but I think their racist stance makes Hamas much worse. I don't think the wish to eradicate all Jews is justifiable at all. I would say the same if Israel had the same aims for Palestinians, but they don't.

Its desigantion as a terroprist organisation is open to discussion:

So only Israel, USA , UK and EU as a whole (but not all member states) designate Hamas, in its entirety, as terrorist.
