That's your interpretation based on what, can't be anything in reality if it's never been trialled. Only when it's been trialled can you make adjustments
UK fisherman catch fish that we don’t eat, as an EU member fisherman used to land their catch in French ports

I can’t remember the figures but something like 75% was sold into the EU

and therein lies the problem: if we wanted to continue selling fish into Europe we needed to negotiate fishing quotas accordingly.

we appear to bow down to the French, is there something we get back that we're not being told about

France is part of the EU

40% of UK exports go to EU
8% of EU exports come to UK

Brexit meant both sides taking back control…..once the UK was no longer a member, the EU acted in the interests of the 27 not U.K. any more. And the figures tell we need them 5x more than they need us.

Based on what has actually happened.

Glad to hear disputes were taking place two years ago. We live in hope.

You've been proven to lie profusely so you don't mind if I take that with a pinch of salt.

Been done on here.
France getting one in the eye by the military deal done between Britain, Australia and America is always good to read again.
could’ve been done as an EU member

Your comment “France getting one in the eye” is an insight into your maturity.

You spend your time posting uninformed opinions and at the same time ignore facts.

here is the evidence that supports my post:

“A parliamentary report published today has found that some 75 per cent of fish caught in the UK is exported, mostly to the European Union, while the majority of fish eaten in the UK is imported.”

We couldn't get immigration down when a member of the EU and France has always protected their fishing industry - scared sh!tless they'll go on strike.

FOM was unrestricted, but since unemployment has been low for last 20 years, we clearly needed those workers.

Brexit led to loads of nurses, drs, vets, care workers, fruit pickers etc and now we have a chronic shortage

The U.K. got stitched up over fishing years ago as an EU member

brexit was never going to reverse that, no matter how much Gant wants to believe otherwise
