The French are revolting.

Do you think they'll get support from all those remainers that wanted high supermarket prices and expensive post-Brexit trade deals?
No sympathy for farmers in my area anyway. They were all proudly displaying brexit support at the time of the referendum

Notch, on the other hand, has claimed there isn’t a single full supermarket shelf anywhere in the U.K.
I did not say that

What I said was that Brexit trade barriers have created rolling shortages, reduced choice, reduced freshness and impact on price.

this has all been well reported in the retail sector industry news and by trade experts.

Acknowledged by the government too.

But its still disputed by him

Oh. He's gone quiet

He's probably counting tomato seeds ;)

Those who wished to remain in the EU got the predictions right...

Brexiteers got it horribly wrong, and I've yet to hear of anything that has got better.
Plenty of things have got far worse, and the best that can be claimed is that in some cases the situation has stayed the same - albeit at extra cost!

Apart from the die hard anti foreigner types, a lot of (surviving) brexiteers are finally realising that...

Even some farmers, after the promise to at least equal the subsidies they used to receive never materialised...

No sympathy for those who were the turkeys who voted for christmas individually.
But as a whole the UK needs better food security, not a worsening situation as is the case!

Agree, but we've got what was voted for.

Think it was fairly obvious it was going to cost more and slow down supply.

Sooner or later things will change again

Eh? Unfortunately, most people just want low supermarket prices. How is that an increase in food prices?
Yes. Explain how you thought brexit would achieve that?

Do you have a different opinion now to that at the referendum, or your opinion is the same then and now

We'd buy even more of our stuff from outside the EU at a better price if they continued to be spiteful about it. Now we have, they don’t like it.
