Not sure if I’d have chips with it. But the rest sounds goodCottage pie, chips, peas, and gravy. The pie, from the same batch made, as last time, where the mash was sloppy. Today, it was absolutely fine, so we are wondering what the difference was. Last time it was not quite fully thawed, before cooking so cooked longer, an hour. This time, taken out the freezer yesterday, and cooked for just 40 minutes.
I thought the whole point of cottage pie was that the potatoes are included, therefore, no need for chips.
But, if anybody wants to have chips with their potatoes, go for it.
