Hi all. Thanks for taking the time to read and advise.
I am in a new build and I want to change to hive thermostats upstairs and downstairs. I have a multi zone hive set. And understand that I need to wire in both receivers into the ESI esrtp6 double valve PSU (pictured below)
The original wiring circled in yellow shows the wires from the upstairs stat and downstairs stat going into RH , 0V and +V.
I plan to wire both single channel Hive receivers into these as per the second wiring picture whilst powering the Hive receivers into the L and N.
Firstly is this correct??
My second question is that I plan to use the existing wiring to my Hive Stats once I’ve removed the old ones. I believe this is optional.
In which case do I keep the wiring connected in the yellow circle in the first picture? Also when you open the Hive stat it only has two connections but three wires for the old stat. Picture 3. Which wires do I use?
Thanks for getting this far.
