Suppose you could buy some duck eggs with it. Hardly worth the effort in my books.

I live close to course and have not seen any of it this year. No interest tbh. Took day off last year for a wonder around Cheltenham pubs and it was very quiet. About 6 people in the last pub in brewery quarter. There is an article in local paper regarding it being like a ghost town. Probably after last race the pubs fill up. Mate bought tickets for next year and prices have gone up £20 on this year's price he was saying.

Not like it used to be but maybe I'm getting old.

Feature on R5 today saying attendance has been falling since 2022

On the news last night they were saying the local women don't like going out during the 4 days because of all the drunk men, and that they set up temporary strip clubs in the town....

We used to go to Cheltnham races every year, cant stand horse racing myself it bores me. But there was one race I liked and it was called the dawn run. They need to setup temporary strip clubs as Cheltnham is the most boring place on earth.

Who, the women do?

I read the attendance was well down and the course were offering 'meal deals' to entice people.
A big proportion of the crowds have always come over from Ireland, including the breeders and racers, perhaps the Irish are feeling the pinch as well.
