School scraps Easter service to respect other religions

not true

thats just your interpretation
really, then in our town we have a place called Spring Bank, the Muslims have taken it over and is heavily poulated by them to the extent that the long standing residents were driven out, also they put a sign on one restaurant stating "No English Allowed" The council got the sign removed but even so you was not welcome even to this day inside of it.

Palaces I work around Birmingham have a lot of muslims working in them.

I was speaking to a young chap the other day who is convinced that king Charles is secret Muslim.....interesting?

The Tandoori Palace ;)

there will be no easter eggs next.

All religion in my opinion is toxic, I cannot just single one out over another. I do not think religion has a part to play in a modern society but that is my own opinion which I do not force onto others.
It can't be denied it's the root cause of much conflict around the world past present and no doubt in the future. Thing is, if religion was banned globally, humankind would simply fill the void with something else to argue, fight and go to war over.

Whilst this might appear contradictory to my opening post, part of me thinks schools should be religious free zones. All of them.

All communist country's did the same and still do. China and North Korea are very hot on this.
Religion in China is diverse and most Chinese people are either non-religious or practice a combination of Buddhism and Taoism with a Confucian worldview, which is collectively termed as Chinese folk religion.[1]

The People's Republic of China is officially an atheist state,[2] but the government formally recognizes five religions: Buddhism, Taoism, Christianity (Catholicism and Protestantism are recognized separately), and Islam.[3] All religious institutions in the country are required to uphold the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, implement Xi Jinping Thought, and promote the sinicization of religion.[4]

The problem I see with teaching something like RE in schools to children is that they carry this belief with them for many years and is a form of brainwashing from an early age. If RE wasn't taught I wonder how many people would gravitate towards religion later in life.

It is still not illegal to own a Bible in China. Since the Bible does not have an ISBN (International Standard Book Number), it cannot be sold or distributed within China in bookstores or other commercial markets

I'm not getting into that debate. Religion strikes me as a strange thing for a whole load of reasons, however I'd still be typing this time tomorrow!

A lot of older people turn to religion through fear of dying
A lot of poorly educated people are influenced by religion, throughout their entire lives. America is choc full of morons, so it's no accident the dribbling idiots are funding a great life for those blagging Christianity back to them.

White nationalist Christian shmucks.

Are you a practising Christian?
Yes, have been for all my life.
That is the most ridiculous of statements, especially as it has just been explained to you that there are links between Christianity and Islam......
When you need a lesson about links between christianity and islam, I'd be pleased to offer you one.
It is unfortunate that some religious nutcases from all parts want to delete the other side at one point in history.
Nowadays it is the turn of "muslims" to try deleting christianity.
