Hi, some I know is looking at a house in Liverpool what is of non standard construction and according to them is made out of I Doncello Concrete Blocks.

Trouble is, I can't find a thing online about Doncello Concrete Blocks? Maybe they heard wrong when they spoke to the estate agents, but according to them, the estate agents said that with old non standard construction houses made out of concrete, you get different types of concrete constructions and this house has "Doncello" Concrete Blocks which is of the better type of concrete?

Anyone got any knowledge of this stuff? Ok to buy or best to avoid? I can't seem to find a thing online about "Doncello" concrete.

Also being the house was built sometime between 1930 and 1949, is it more likley to have floor planks or floor boards?

Regards: Elliott.

Thanks for that link, trying to get and wrap my head around how feasible it would be to renovate a Dorlonco based property like shown below as this type of constructions is a new thing to me?

Got lots of questions like:

1) Can you drill holes to run new pipes/wires through the house whilst potentially facing Asbestos issues
2) Will the upstairs floors have concrete on expanded metal lathing (rather than traditional wood joists and wood planks) and how easy that would be to access the cavity between the ground and 1st floor to run cables/pipes.
3) Can you safely drill into the celling's to put in wires/spot lights/in celling speakers, etc...
4) Can you safely drill into the external walls to feed things like outside lights and alarm bell boxes, etc...
5) How good/poor the insulation is.
6) Can the Asbestos (if any) be fully removed or is it integral to the construction of the building.
7) Anything else that one would have to contend with when majorly renovating a Dorlonco based property?

i.e. a house like the below.
