When a GP makes an Advice and Guidance request does that GP get £20?

Yes or no?

Easy question for you.

easy questions for you does the business the GP owns get the money and who gets the profit from that business

The business that is owned by the GP gets 20 quid.
So the GP doesn’t get £20

So the title of this thread:

GPs to get £20 bonus for keeping patients out of hospital

Is false, GPs do not get a bonus for keeping patients out of hospital

So the GP does not get £20 bonus.

Yes the GPs who are partners (40% are salaried) might get a share of profits

The £20 fee paid for Advice and Guidance may or may not yield a profit, it may well cost £20 in administrative costs

Pray tell how you think it will cost in admin , it takes the secretary/ admin the same time to send the request

£20 is peanuts, it isn't profit.
Really at present approx 1.3 million done per year what are they expecting it to go to ten fold that ?
there was 36 million hospital referrals in 2022 so ten fold isnt excessive .
So 13 million A&G at 20 quid a time soon adds up to a tidy sum

No, capped at 4 million.
so how are they going to cap it what lea way ? oh sorry you should have called this morning
4 million 20 quids is still a substantial amount of money to make a profit on
average just under 3 grand per gp
or around 12750 per practise with the big practises getting substantially more

so how are they going to cap it what lea way ?
Local boards monitor expenditure and when the money is used up then that's it. GP's can still use the service but won't be paid.

So what? It covers the additional work involved.
