My Mrs has a full EV, ok for local stuff but the range has only 200 miles, when we go anywhere we take my range rover, a hybrid is of interest though. Best of both worlds

they will not even allow chinese EVs to park on MOD sites, if you get caught plugging a military phone in it is a very serious offense, involving colchester military prison.

Winter cover removed from the BBQ, cleaned down, and made ready for dinner later today. That followed by a trip to Lidl to collect salad, coleslaw, plus a few other items for stock. Followed by a second trip to Lidl, to collect the extra things she forgot she needed. Then she gave me a haircut, and an eyebrow trim. Pork chop, baked potato, corn on the cob, salad, and coleslaw on the menu for dinner this evening.
 
Yet another BBQ, it would be rude not to. Today, we noticed that a bird box, which I made maybe three years ago, was being set for use by a pair of blue tits. The first time any birds have taken an interest. A couple of years ago, some bees moved in and made a nest, but that's all. So the task later today, is to build a second box, of a different style, to hang in another tree, to maybe attract the robins to set up home.
 
Repaired a noisy GTech Air Ram cordless vacuum cleaner by shimming the sprung loaded bearing carrier in the brush roller. It was running off-bonk and just touching the body. A proper semi-permanent bodge!

Power washed the garden furniture and rear patio.

Located the cause of the slow puncture in the rear wheel of my commuter scooter. Leaking between the rim and the valve body. Ordered some new valves.
 
Been out to beat the bounds then water the frogs: it's hotter than the Vixen's walk today!
