Girls Under 13 grass roots football.
Top two have Won every game except 1 game that they lost against each other.
So equal on points.

What decides who the champions are?

If they have equal points it would be decided on goal difference. The team that has scored the most goals will win. Although, our son did tell us that this year he was told that if there was a draw on points the goal difference would not be taken into account, it would be decided with another match (like a cup final). He is currently under 15's.

Both teams have won all their games except against each other.

Yet it's not as black and white as that

There has been a forfeited games against both sides.

Watford scored 28 goals in two games against Berkhampstead. Yet we only got the 6 points + Zero goals
as Berkhampstead forfeited against us.

What league is he in?

He's in the Mid Herts Rural Minors League, Division 2. They've had a great season this year! Unbeaten and we had notification yesterday that they've won their division with 2 games in hand. They are also in the league cup final. So they will be going up to Div 1 next season.

Must be a different league but she's in a Hertfordshire league.

Watford play tonight so at least we will know what we have to do to win the league on goal difference.

Any problems with ref's in these games?
I read an article last week detailing a deterioration in attitudes to referees in games at this level.
Even teenage refs getting it in the neck from irate parents. Not cool.

Watford won 3-1 last night so we have to now encourage our girls to beat another bunch of 13 year old girls by a minimum of 8-0 to win the league on Saturday.. Not very comfortable about encouraging them to stuff a team who's already low on confidence and will drop a league next deason if they survive.

We would then be = on goal difference but would have scored more goals. Hence going by the rules should win the league. 9-0 would clearly do it.

We will play our strongest team and are capable of winning by a large amount

We have scored 10s 9s an 8 and a 7 this season. This time we have to tell our girls exactly how many goals they need to score to win the league. That's not comfortable.

This is the point of this thread. At this age it's all wrong.
