I have said all along that it is much better to reduce greenhouse emissions and that this sort of geo-engineering would be a last resort.
Yeah we don’t want to run out off Rennies!

but the concept you’re referring to is likely solar geoengineering, particularly stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI). This involve
I'm really not referring to any particular concept, only commenting on the link in your original post. It is a small amount of money for this type of research and won't cover anything controversial. I'm interested to see if it uncovers anything new, or not.

This involves spraying reflective particles (like sulfur dioxide or calcium carbonate) into the upper atmosphere to reflect a small fraction of sunlight and cool the planet.
Unfortunately, the extra greenhouse gases from burning the fuel of the thousands of aircraft flying around to spray the particles will cancel out any advantage which the reflective approach might have.;)

Don't worry. Follow the science lol. The net zero train is losing traction. The whole electric future is not possible, people are realising. Expect plenty of distraction/diversion. Spray the sky to keep the sun out lol. Which will help solar panels how? Still no loss as the UKs 1% contribution to climate change is irrelevant any way. Hilarious.
