Mind blown !

It gets worse for the doomers. Seems like the latest results are not in line with the doom narrative so they are not being published.

NASA won't publish key climate change report online, citing 'no legal obligation' to do so

I think this one is actually a misunderstanding.

A few weeks ago, Trump shut down the main government website where all the climate change reports were held for the public to view. But NASA announced they would put the reports on their website instead. NASA have now been told by Trump not to do this. Essentially, Trump is trying to make it extremely difficult for the general public to access any official information about climate change. For the time being, they are still available on another more obscure government website, but only if you know where to look.

The software of my weather reporting system, includes a sanity check on temperatures, to limit short term glitches in the data - all brief, sudden changes are filtered out, before being recorded. It takes several minutes of a change in temperature to persist, before the stored, and reported temperature changes. I would expect the system in question, to do something similar.

That does sound sensible.

I wonder if meteorological institutions will have thought of that?
Perhaps aveatry has an answer?

Sounds reasonable to me- what do you care about climate change anyway - you are one of the worst offenders on here if you think CO2 is to blame.

Are you one of those people claiming the temperature isn't rising? It's unclear.
If you were every paying attention then you would know my answer is very clear NO.
The worlds climate is getting warmer I have never disagreed with that and I do not think anyone is disputing that.
That perception is because the doomers keep shouting "climate denier" at anyone who has some questions. Like -- you know that Coningsby temp thing well isn’t that on one of the UKs main NATO airbases with acres of concrete and tarmac isnt that a bad spot for a weather station, ---- then it comes "climate denier" "climate denier" as a way of shutting down discussion.

Acres of concrete and tarmac?

But let's pretend you're not talking *******s, so what? What would be different if the measurement was near a random pub in Norfolk?

Yes there are acres of tarmac, concrete and buildings - the yellow X is where the weather station is if you look closely. Also you goolge image shows the whole of Coningsby which is irrelevant.

The climate, is doing what the climate has always done - it is changing.

You will have to go and read the climate thread and the last few pages on here.

Why do YOU think the climate is changing?

Is it changing more than normal, or not ?
Depends on when you look to compare.
But there is one of the deepest ice cores just about to be studied so we may find out

An ice core that may be older than 1.5 million years has arrived in the UK where scientists will melt it to unlock vital information about Earth's climate.

The glassy cylinder is the planet's oldest ice and was drilled from deep inside the Antarctic ice sheet.

Frozen inside is thousands of years of new information that scientists say could "revolutionise" what we know about climate change.
