Women's football hurts my ears!

I think they are quite skilful, but a bit lost on a man size pitch, a 75% pitch and goals would work so much better

As to the noise - I hate football commentary at the best of times (esp when played on radio news, why do they think anyone wants to listen to an over excited commentated screaming a goal in?) but when that commentator is a woman it is 10x worse

one thing that is a little disturbing and must be showing my age - all those young women on the pitch and I fancy the manager - lol

I don't think Guardian readers like the idea that there is any diferance between the sexes - women are as big and as strong as men, apparently

Maybe speed is the bigger factor. But does any of it make that much difference. Women play on the same size tennis court. Just thinking about this a bit more. If the pitch and goals were too big, wouldn't that mean there would be loads more goals.

Women's tees are closer to the holes on golf courses.

ther is a lot more goals in womens football, and that has been put down to smaller goal keepers - but then again that doesn't figure too well when it comes to penalties, which is odd

Watching the match tonight, I don't get the feeling that the pitch is too big. Maybe the mens games should actually be played on bigger pitches. Sometimes I think top level mens football is just too congested and could do with a bit more space.

Skilful you mean some of them are a better class of shyte than the people they are playing . As i said 15 year old boys team beat the best in the world ladies team . 5 ...2
And 14 year old boys team recently beat the swiss national team 7. 1

You might be confusing skill with speed and power. The Spanish centre forward took a long ball down tonight better than most male footballers could ever do. And some of the balls in from their left winger have been sensational. Lots of other really good stuff from both teams tonight. I really like it.

Yeah easy to do stuff when no one is near you or pressing you , pure and simple kids are better than them and how would those kids do against a pro mans team they would be absolutely annihilated
