Tommy Robinson flees UK

Eye witness claims Tommy justified attack as self defence due to a verbal threat .
Probably some drunk wanting to have a go at him.
This sort of thing is an occupational hazard for people like Tommy.
He attracts and repells in equal measure.

I hope that de-arrested you, rather than releasing without charge.
Not exactly!

"The row broke out after the woman was denied a refund and tried to take replacement items from the shop".

I had exactly the same happen to me years ago, around 1990. I bought a rugby shirt in Benetton. Cost £35 which wasn’t cheap at the time, When Mrs Mottie washed it according to instructions, the red stripe on the collar run into the white. Mrs Mottie took it back twice and was fobbed off by the manager saying it had to be sent back to Italy for inspection. I got on the phone to him and after a few harsh words he told me to come up for a replacement at a certain time. I went down with my son who was only about 4 at the time. When I got there the manager wasn’t there and they didn’t know when he would be - he was clearly giving us the runaround. I asked for a bit of paper, gave them my name, address and phone number, threw the f'cking shirt at the assistant, took another shirt from the rack and went to leave the shop. They tried to stop me leaving by snatching my son from me and holding the door shut. I grabbed him back, flung the door open knocking one of them flying, went home, job done.

Later that day I got a call from the police to go up the police station, I did and they arrested me on the spot and charged me with assault. I told them about them grabbing my son but they weren’t interested. When I went to court, I told my story including them snatching my son and the police not doing anything and the beak stopped the proceedings and ordered that the person that grabbed my son be charged with assault!

Long story short, The cps said if I dropped those charges and agreed to be bound over, that would be it. I said yes, went to court, got bound over and that was it - or so I thought. The cps 'forgot' to drop the charges against me, went ahead with the court case without telling me, I got found guilty in my absence and fined £115! I phoned up the court to complain but was told to quash that I would have to go to a higher court so I just gave up. So, a £35 shirt, £115 fines and worse of all, the shirt I grabbed was the wrong size so I gave it to my mate and he took the pîss out of me every time he wore it!

On a totally unrelated matter, that Benneton shop had its locks superglued and windows broken quite a few times in the months following that incident.

Mrs Mottie still reminds me of that whenever I have to take something back. "Don't get arrested again" she shouts out as I’m going out of the door!

Only in it for the money , reportedly worth over £2 million.
His wife declared bankruptcy.
The HMRC are investigating her.
Over 1 million pounds has been unaccounted for.
Meanwhile Tommy's fans keep sending him money.

From BBC..

Robinson lives a lavish lifestyle thanks in part to the financial support of his donors, including ordinary supporters giving what little money they have. One email from a donor seen by the Independent said, “I have just donated £20 for your cause Tommy, sorry I cannot afford any more as I am only on minimum wage.

It can't have been that rampage...

mottie claimed that the police 'laughed at that' ;)
Yep. Laughed their heads off. As did most on here, all except those without a sense of fair play, lack of humour and a self-righteous opinion of their own behaviour.

I believe we debated your lawful right to use reasonable force in the prevention of crime and protection of your property, with the usual forum idiots arguing against.

first rule - always talk the the duty solicitor.

What a ****ing idiot.

Why haven't they released the footage? Because that could prejudice the trial. You'd think anyone who pays attention to Lennon would have started to grasp the basics of this by now.

If this is something you're watching to learn more about things then you are doing yourself a disservice.

I have only ever been nicked once. I was accused of putting a traffic cone in the road (about 12.30AM). Actually, I wasn't initially considered to be a suspect (in no way did I match the witness description- wrong skin colour and clothing). The old bill walked into the cab office where I was waiting and asked if anyone knew anything about the traffic cone in the road. I stupidly asked "which traffic cone?". Moments later I was being handcuffed and driven to Chiswick police station. Whilst questioning me, it was pretty obvious that they were getting p!ssed off because I told them that I knew nothing about the traffic cone. I asked to speak to both the duty solicitor and the duty doctor (they fecked up my wrist). They wouldn't let me see the doctor and after an hour or so they let me speak to the duty solicitor (over the phone). He seemed to have been annoyed about being woken up. They released me about 3.30AM and I had to pay for a black cab to get home. Whilst in the cell, they were doing their best to needle me, seemingly in the hope that I would become combative. I lost a lot of respect for the police that evening...

I wonder if he used another fraudulent passport, like when he went to USA.

Or perhaps he has citizenship of another country. I've known other criminals who escaped justice that way.
