So are you saying you’ve never quoted someone’s post and replaced the words with “blah blah” for example?

should always quote the whole paragraph from the post you are replying to - not just a few words as some do

And it really is below the belt when folk change words in what they are quoting - that should be a ban

Don't you think there is something extremely funny about that one.

I think changing someone's post to alter the meaning is totally out of order.

But when it's so gratuitous and blatant so nobody could mistake it.

Maybe it's just my sense of humour.

I see no difference than someone using the cross out option and changing it and then saying corrected for you.
