Any charitable organisations you've been impressed with?

Just looking to possibly add a charity or two in my will. I would ideally like recommendations from anyone who has knowledge of one that you believe to do good work for a good cause. Cheers

I have always been impressed with guide dogs for visually impaired.
As a supporter, I know several recipients and the dogs changed their lives and dependency on others

Neuroblastoma is a very nasty form of cancer affecting childeren usually under 5, its rare only 100 are diagnosed every year in the UK, the treatment is quite brutal. My grandson was taken by it before he was 2. Neuroblastoma . co.uk is a charity set up to help raise money for reserch into better ways of treating this horrendous disease, as they are a lesser known charity they do not get the same funding as say the leucemia charities recieve.

We lost our niece to a pretty rare illness. Her parents started a charity to fund research into it. The comedian Sean Lock was our patron and he helped raise lots of money before he unfortunately lost his life to cancer.

I would donate. To a local charity were it doesn't have a board taking a higher percentage of a wage than actually goes to the cause
