I'd never have had JohnD down as a supporter of Israel.
Don't be silly!
I never do that.
It is roughly three groups:
Out and out far right racists. They tend to hate Muslims even more than they hate Jews. So, they support Israel. Although, some bemoan the fact that they are giving the Jews a free pass at the moment.
Far right anti-Semites. They support Israel and want it to succeed, because they want all the Jews in their own country to move there.
And then some Christian Evangelicals hate Jews, because of what they believe the Jews did to Jesus. But because of the Book of Revelations, they want all the Jews to gather in the Holy Land. And that is why they support Israel.
So when you drill down, things can get very confusing, because there are so many different motivations.
You see those on this forum.

I've never heard of such a mass walkout before now. Shows the depth of feeling around the world. They can't all be wrong.
Just Google like I did. I have read three papers in the past six months comparing the motivations behind anti-Semitism on the left and the right. It is very interesting but takes time.

The UN is pretty useless nowadays. It hasnt prevented any wars in recent years, nobody takes any notice of them. Set up80 years ago it has had its day.Seems like a lot of the UN don't support Israel right now....

Trump announced a likely peace deal shortly after that speech, been a lot going on behind closed doors the last few days.
If he is serious, it is a big step forward.
But many think it is just another smokescreen.
HM, off topic on here but I can't reply on the Jew hating thread but Ellal was claiming Hamas have different callibre ammunition so it's conclusive that children are being shot by the IDF.
That's not true, Hamas use M16 rifles, Israelis use Tavor, both use 5.56 calibre, Hamas do have snipers, one took out an IDF soldier this week and there is at least one eye witness account (by a Palestinian) of seeing his brother shot in the head by Hamas whilst in a food queue.

I wonder why those that dishonestly conflate criticism of Israel with anti semitism are also Reform voters a party headed by a liar..............oh thats right its because they are morally corrupt.
