OMG what is happening in Poland

OMG thousands of American elite forces are congregating in Poland on the Ukraine border. NATO have gone silent and so have Washington. American Delta forces do not do this in these numbers unless something is about to kick off. This is unusual.

Poland has been preparing for was with Russia for years, decades. I remember watching a documentary about it at least 10 years ago.

And we're helping bolster Nato forces along the border. The UK is a major contributor to NATO's enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) on the eastern flank, with a permanent presence of troops in Estonia. We've already deployed Typhoons in missions in Poland too.

Also we're helping build anti-drone drones (or something) to help shoot down Russian drones and missiles. Read yesterday that we currently use anti-missiles but these are about a million quid each, which would mean we'd quickly run out of them. But the drones are much cheaper. Learning from the Ukrainians too.

If you are wonder when WW3 is going to start, stop wondering. It started already. Hacking, political interference, including causing division amongth us, fires, drones, incursions, Ukraine, Israel, Sudan - far more has happened than at the time we consider the previous world wars started.

And becoming quite a formidable country in the process given their investment in the military, and their economy based on manufacturing and tech. They've come a long way in a relatively short time.
I've always had respect for them, I knew a few dozen growing up, parents were either refugees or had links to the RAF at Northolt.

In the past week 2,213 illegal immigrants from Asia and Africa have landed on our south coast. They are causing serious problems in our towns and cities, and just the other day we had the Manchester synagogue attack. Russia is no threat to us and I don't give a damn about Gaza, Ukraine, Israel, Palestine and any other such place that the MSM thinks we should take an interest in. We should be defending our own territory and acting in the interests of ourselves and our economy. If only we had politicians and journalists who would put Britain first.

I agree with all of that apart from your views on Russia - We need to be very careful around Putin, and if we have to fight a proxy war in Ukraine then so be it

as for Gaza / Israel - the world would not be a worse place if those two blew each other the kingdom come. Our big danger there is vast amounts of palesines coming here and in a few years time declaring this is their promised land

For my entire life people have warned about the danger of Russia... and it simply hasn't happened. Russia is no threat to us - provided we don't interfere with her affairs. We should forge links with the country instead of meddling against it; the removal of the Iron Curtain was supposed to bring Russia in from the cold. Russia is not an enemy of Britain... Britain's enemies are the EU, islam, and above all OUR OWN GOVERNMENT.

And the EU are not our enemies - uncontrolled mass inward migration from idiotic countries is our great danger, followed by Putin. EU are our friends or at least our associates, (not the type you could have a 'boys night out with' but an occasional beer would be absolutely fine.)

Poland has been at war with Russia on and off for centuries, it has also been at war with its other neighbours.
It's an Eastern European thing, they are always nicking bits of each others territory.
Parts of modern Ukraine used to be in Poland, Lithuania had Ukraine ect.ect.
They change their borders more often than they change their shirts.
I hope Britain doesn't get involved to 'defend Polish sovereignty ' , the last time they did that we ended up in World War, which bankrupted Britain and resulted in the Russian Communists taking over Poland for decades.

Or was it because Russia was perceived as a lot stronger then than it is today.
It was called the balance of terror back then.
