That vertical soil pipe into the elbow and 45 junction will be noisy, and is so close to the gulley that you'll have foul sewage splashing back into the gulley trap

I'm with the others on the Soil Pipe setup, you're asking for problems I suspect. Falling waste is going to splash everywhere when it hits the bottom, and could block the Gully.

The soil pipe really needs a dedicated connection into the chamber, then run the connection from the Aco Drain in next to it.

Ok, going to have to hope for the best, concreted in yesterday.
Did a trial run with water/toilet paper and seemed to flow into the chamber ok, but the proof will be in the ‘pudding’

Sadly, I suspect that may cause more issues than it solves. Waste would probably build up behind it so it would never open with the weight of water you would be able to get behind it.

A possible backup plan: the old stack was connected to the other side of the inspection chamber originally, as shown in img_8964 & 8773, (photos taken before the new gulley, p-trap and stack connection installed, shown in img_9104, which is now concreted in)

The existing stack, as shown in the photos, used a standard clay elbow into the chamber with no issues in 15+ years.

My only concern is that, to reuse this stack location, the new toilet outlet piping would require the arrangement shown in the outlet sketch.
Is this new arrangement preferable to the existing dropping directly into the new 45 elbow and horizontal Y-branch shown in img_9104?

I have attached some sketches of the arrangement at the underground level, and the outlet from the toilet if I were to locate the back stack on the original wall, utilising a rest bend.

Hope this makes sense .... Would any of you guys be able to take a look and let me know if I have a suitable or improved resolution?

I deffo wouldn’t do that, I know it’s a faff but re-routing the aco and rainwater pipe into that IC, is gonna be a better solution and worry free then

That setup in img_9104 is now concreted in, looking for an alternative pain-free option that doesn't require digging out again.

I would think you'll be better reusing original connection for the stack to go in, and if you need to run another Aco Drain down that side of the property, it needs its own connection to the drain, go in with a junction downstream of the chamber if necessary, but you're too close to the base of the stack otherwise.

Yes, otherwise I think you'll have issues with waste making a right miss as it hits the bottom and coming back into the Aco drain trap. The reason for a long radius bend at the bottom of a stack is to assist with smooth flow of waste round into the drain.

Sorry, did you misss the sketch on the right on the pdf showing alternative ? It includes a rest bend up stream of the y branch (in plan)
With 2.5deg fall, will waste come back up to the p-trap?

Don't see any issue with that setup, go for it. Pity actually you couldn't have done something similar on the other side, never thought about it at the time when we were discussing it previously.
