logical step for Labour is to reverse Brexit

oh look

here is Aveatry making assertions without a single piece of evidence :ROFLMAO:
whataboutery - I believe it goes
Anyway I am too busy today to deal with your nonsense, I dont expect you will have posted anything to back up your Reform claims when I return.

it is not whataboutery, I am simply pointing out how you have done exactly what you are accusing me of doing

Anyway I am too busy today to deal with your nonsense
Its funny how you are always suddenly busy when youve been caught out

I dont expect you will have posted anything to back up your Reform claims when I return.
you are very concerned about negative claims regarding Reform............obv you are a massive fan (which we know anyway, youve never posted any criticism of them ever whatsoever

Requiring a substantial majority for change otherwise we stay, would not have been democratic.

most countries have a written constitution.

countries where referenda are normal, generally specify a minimum band to avoid the absurdity of a 49/51 vote upending the country, followed by a 51/49 to upend it again.

you may remember that when Farage thought the Brexers would lose by a small margin, he promised to press for more referenda until he got his way.

some might think that you are attracted to the small brexit margin because you thought it resulted in you getting what you thought you wanted.

no doubt you would be equally committed to a small margin that went the other way.

ooops, no you wouldn't.

Just when I thought you were capably of sensible discussion...

I was very much on the fence, but there was no "I don't mind" option. I was slightly more leave leaning and I thought Remain would win.

I would have been happy for BRINO, Norway-Plus or any of the soft Brexits. EU only makes sense if you are in the Euro otherwise you are paying the same ticket for a worse seat. I have benefitted substantially from Brexit, but it was not my reason for voting leave.

I was very much on the fence,

if that had been true, you would not have poured out a torrent of anti-EU posts

unless, perhaps, they had been balanced by an equal volume of pro-EU posts

which they weren't

It is not unusual for brexers, in the light of reality, to back away from their previous positions.

that's one of the reasons there are so few brexers left now.

In a roughly 50/50 split with a slight majority.

Not overwhelming

I don't think that's the point Deluks was making.

I read it as asking Notch what the significance of the story being in The Times was, as opposed to the Express, or the Guardian, or the Racing Post, given that leavers and remainers were found on both sides of any political divide.
