Removing this left wing blight from what was once a proud British city is a major victory.

Southend’s got far more problems than its university. Went there fairly recently many years after childhood holidays. Full of crackheads and alkies. There had been an investment in a brand new sea side centre which was impressive but the area around it was decaying and un maintained. It was nice to go to the end of the pier again though.

I often find that those that continually sign up under new names often make the same mistake of using a particular word or phrase that gives themselves away. Febrile. A quick search of that word shows one prolific user of that word that confirms who you were. On my ignore list you go. Bye.

Sadly, this is happening to many seaside towns, councils palm off their troublesome tenants to coastal towns which are usually cheaper to house people. St Leonards is the same, Blackpool is a headline grabber for all the wrong reasons now.

Is he jealous of someone getting a university education?
Does he not care about the £100m loss to the economy of a run down area of the country?

Sadly the truth of the matter is the ongoing decline in the number of foreign students coming to the UK which accelerated after brexit!

Allied with high costs, the UK is no longer a preferred educational country option for many...

But some appear to welcome the 'dumbing down' of the UK and the closure of educational centres...

Maybe it makes them feel 'more at ease'?

All unis are infested with leftyism. Mostly because the student unions are run by young people, who haven't yet wised up.

A house-mate at my uni tried setting up the "White Able-Bodied Mens Society" as a protest against the other minority clubs that excluded by various characteristics. They wouldn't let him, which he got angry about. I was interested in learning skills, not politics, so didn't really care. But I can see both sides of this one.

They widely silence dissenting views these days. E.g. suggesting that there are two genders. I think one tried to ban a Students' Reform Party club.
