I wonder how many are having power stolen from them? I look at my own home, and we seem to be using far more electricity to what I would expect View attachment 407334View attachment 407335this is a trough and is my lights, TV, PC, heating, freezers etc. The lowest reading for today is around 200 watt, not a lot, and my total bill is low enough so I have not really hunted to find where it is used, so some will likely be powering my smart stuff, but most people don't have solar panels and as a result a graph showing what they are using. Yes I have a smart meter View attachment 407338 80% of the time it shows zero, if he had not been greedy, he may have got away with it.

And of course theft from energy supplier as opposed to a metered supply and one of those was done by an EV installer from a henley block before the 2 meters.

That's certainly the implication but, maybe due to my ageing brain, although I've been around here for 15years, "LL" rings no immediate bells!

Ah - do you mean that "LL" was an abbreviation for 'landlord'?

I hadn't mentioned: following an inspection which found a lot of crusty rubber, the flat has had a full rewire and at Freds request the new CU is in his flat then when the smart meter was fitted he managed to get that beside the CU, so hopefully no messy leccy any more.

No it is a phontical sound from the 27 in the Welsh alphabet.

I was once required to have a drag of a special cig, as the others in the group were worried I would split on them if I was not partaking, didn't do a thing for me, the Algerian red wine did a far better job. But if I look back to smoking normal cigs, can't work out why I ever started? Wife said she was giving up when a packet of 20 king-size went up to 50p a packet, and I was not letting a woman beat me, so she never re-started so neither did I.

But I still brew my own beer. But not for the effect, I simply like the taste. And yes I have a heat pad, it was an under floor heated tile demo tile, to keep the beer at 20°C while brewing, thermostatic control so uses very little energy, not sure why a green house needs so much?
