Money can't buy you happiness

No need. Khan will sack him. Has Khan mentioned anything about it? You normally cant keep the Khant off the news when there’s an attack on a Muslim, can you?
I did see him interviewed yesterday or possibly the day before. Just the usual waffle being spouted, nothing of any substance.

They want to make sure he doesn't end up in a wooden box.
That was the point of the donation.
A lifetime donation could last one day, what happens if it gets used for other purposes? An SNP motor home type investigation?

Aren't you also a couple of hundred miles from London?
So why do you care?

Of course, he's a Muslim Labour politician.
I'm 2,500 mile from Ukraine and Russia's invasion concerns me (should concern all of us), so I am obviously even more concerned about the invasion of a somewhat hostile culture to our own shores. London may be a good 400 mile away, but am I wrong to be concerned ?

However the question arises, what do these benefactors expect in return for their donations.

Some will have their veiws on the world and want to know their money will go some way to making that happen.

Some will want their moneys worth.

The BBC says the BBC is making unproven allegations against Reform shocker!

Wow, it's almost like they're some sort of government-run propaganda outlet.

An unproven allegation, what disgraceful journalism. A left wing plot.
It’s being investigated and if serious enough could lead to suspension and a recall petition. Clacton will have to re elect him.
Here’s a balanced report from the beeb.

That's the Guardian, the internal Labour party magazine, so it's very unlikely to be balanced.

It's just lawfare. They'll drag his name down while muddling about and thinking about it then quietly drop the inquiry on a busy news day, probably when there's a big deadly event of some sort, in the hope that the sticky stuff sticks to him. It will work, many gullible folk will continue thinking he did something wrong. This is just how the deep state works.

And yet you insist it's "all a plot" when Farage comes under the same quality of scrutiny by journalists.

See it, say it.

A spokesman for Reform UK said: "Mr Farage's office is in communications with the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards.

"He has always been clear that this was a personal, unconditional gift and no rules were broken. We look forward to this being put to bed once and for all."

Bribes or lobbying as it is also known as in politics, must be declared.

I know. Quite right. Luckily, it was neither of those. How can you bribe or lobby someone if they are not even an MP?
You try and work around it by getting the bribe in before it becomes official. Only trouble is, once you do accept the position, it comes with retroactive consequences.
Poor old Nige. He could lose his seat.
