Makerfield

It’s a brave of a by election candidate from an insignificant party to say “I don’t care” as Rupe appears to be suggesting as a standard response. They are way behind in the polls compared to Re form.

Reform will probably implode long before the GE.
And fromage will have a meltdown, as he can't stand anything other than softball "interviews", and fawning.
That's been my position for a long time.

If I was right wing i would be wary of voting for someone who seems to think running the country is like running a business.

You're alright at the moment with the lot we've got in power. No danger of them being businesslike with the economy.

They're about as astute as and have a similar level of financial foresight as a crackhead with a payday loan. :ROFLMAO:

Farrage will certainly do less media, he’s not keen on accountability, or as he would call it fake news. MPs have to hit him hard over the “gift “ and get a recall petition.

Do those proposing to vote for the local lad think he will achieve more for the constituency as a no name back bencher than Burnam would as a PM. Its a no brainer who to vote for even if you're not Labor.

Farrage has Ellon on his back as Res tore threaten Re form's share of the vote which will let Burnam in. Got to admire right political strategists.
Or is this more msm lies?

Wakefield stands in Makerfield.

It's all going Green in the fields
Perfect, another Manchester import.

The locals will say to hell with her and Burnham. They're not Manchester, and are very proud to not be.

Good that Green are running. There were rumours they were going to stand aside to give Labour all the crackhead/doley/do-gooder votes. Let's see how they do without the mass orchestrated votes of the local muslims they've had elsewhere.

I heard a talk from Burnham, and he kept saying "this place", he never said Makerfield once. I don't think he even knows where it is, it was his generic speech for whatever seat he's being plugged into. He's like one of those stand-up comedians that goes to every town and rants about their one-way system, while having never even looked at the place.

Seems the deform candidate voted to remain in the EU...

Linky Linky

And would rejoin under certain circumstances...

Interestingly his now qualified opportunistic objection to the EU is...

“Free movement of people is great when they are natives of the EU countries and not people from outside Europe seeking a Greek passport that will allow them into any country in the EU.”

Someone should tell him that his fuhrer will neither confirm or deny that he has a German passport gained after brexit ;)

"The Independent" is a lie in itself.

It's the Guardian mk2 these days.

Yourr interpretation of the article is utter nonsense, you've written things that are deliberately misleading. His views and previous statements make complete sense, unless you're a lefty crackpot who's itching to find fault in anything that's not from your mob.

IMO Restore splitting the vote and Burnham winning could be the best possible outcome for Reform and the UK. This way Restore voters get to see the consequences of their actions. Vote Restore, get communists. Hopefully Reform and Restore will settle their differences though.

Currently Burnham is seen as a white knight who's going to whisk us all away to a socialist paradise where everyone will be rich, the sun will shine every day and life will be joyful. If he gets to serve as PM then we'll be able to see that it will actually be a disaster, and Labour will never get into power again. If he doesn't then he'll remain as the left's great hope, promising the impossible, to get voted in the election after the next.

Burnham may last months as PM, probably triggering a bond spike that will hopefully result in a general election after Labour self-destructs while needing to make the massive cuts the budget needs.
