BoschSeries 2 KGN27NLEAG fridge freezer - 2 years old.
A couple of days ago I thought I had closed the fridge door properly but an annoying plastic container (I didn't feel any resistance) just kept it unsealed hence the fridge was running at 15 degrees next morning. Having closed the door I thought it wouldn't be long before it stabilised again. It didn't, it was stuck at 15. The next step was to reset the unit by powering off for 30 mins which initially started to show promise, getting it down to 5 degrees. But next morning it was up to 10 degrees. The food in the freezer is still frozen solid, so why did it go down and then up again ? Surely it should have recovered. I can't do a full defrost as we will lose all the food which is an expense we can't afford and don't have a spare freezer.
Any clues as to what could be wrong ? I could turn the temp dial to the very lowest setting but it is almost there now.
