Starting to lose the will to live now as this issue is robbing us of days with no conclusion. I got to 5 degrees for some time on fully cold on the dial (to be honest, in the 2 years of owning it I have always had it set about 3/4 fully cold) and turned it down to about 3/4 and it still stayed at 5. My wife then sought advice from Google AI and had me turn it to halfway and left overnight. It was 10 in the morning. This is so frustrating as we have lost days, not to mention the inconvenience of not being able to replenish food until we know it's working properly.
It can't be the thermostat as it manages to get down to 5 when it wants to. The only other logical step I can think of which we haven't tried is another (sigh) defrost with the panel off and hairdryer pointing at the evaporator coils (if there is any ice on them at all)
So if someone can advise how I begin to remove this panel without breaking it I would be most grateful. The only other option is to book a Bosch engineer. Thanks.
