Inquests are usually adjourned/postponed because a fair trial is paramount, and in addition a trial (which has a higher burden of 'proof') often brings up additional evidence that can be useful in an inquest verdict...

Just to save everyone a bit of effort and the time waiting for the inquest, I can reveal that the verdict will be that the police did no wrong. There will be other enquiries and investigations into the matter; these will also find that the police did no wrong. It will also emerge that Nigel Farage, Elon Musk and Donald Trump played active roles in Henry Nowak's murder... in fact, this last bit of information will emerge every day for the foreseeable future.
