His brother made the call, and claimed they had been racially attacked. The attacker made race relevant, by falsely claiming that the victim was a racist attacker.
Then it would not have been a racially motivated attack., and his claim would have been refuted. He didn't claim that it was an attack by a Brit on a fellow Brit.
Sure, discuss it. But don't exploit the sad murder of a young man, and specifically against the wishes of his family to incite further racism. It's absolutely justified to discuss race, ethnic origin or whatever as that was absolutely relevant to what happened,
Yes, they were attending a racist attack, and had to make sense of the scene that they encountered.and it clearly affected the police's attitude
And it may not have.which may have cost a life.
Silly, far-right narrative. As usual, racism is a one-sided sword according to many.

Just like British ex-pats.noted from callers that the most used phrase was "back home"
I'd ask how you know they're 2nd or 3rd generation, but you'll just tell lies, something along the lines of, "they said so."2nd and 3ed gen callers.

I hate it when that happens!!! At last we agree on something.....Woof!Yeah, stop people impersonating dogs.
Dogs are offended because they're more intelligent than such people.

You'll find it on the front page of the Sunday Times website, but a link isn't worth bothering with as it's paywalled. So you provide a link to GB news.![]()

they wouldn't have done that if he wasn't whiteThe full force of the law. .

Absolutely disgraceful behavior from the police. Is there any wonder that they have zero respect from the public. I have witnessed their idea of policing so I have no respect for them whatsoever. The full force of the law. .

And nothing to do with an immigrant welding a knife because that's part of his religion in his country

So the attacker was not handcuffed at all during the investigation and subsequent arrest, so you think it was so complex that they just decided to handcuff Henry as they had made their decision after listening to the words racist attack. It isn't complex at all, Henry pleaded with them to help him repeating that he had been stabbed, the police responce was "I don't think you have mate" without checking him. No excuses for this, disgraceful policing and this is not about right or left wing other than the Indian received better treatment in respect to what Henry received. Not that is will make any differents to the Far-Right racist thugs who have taken over this forum, but this his how it was summed up by the excellent Ian Dunt in the i Paper, quoting the comments made by the judge at the time of sentencing.
"No one has anything kind to say about the police officers who attended to Henry Nowak on the evening he was stabbed, but it is worth reading the judge’s remarks. It does not necessarily absolve them from blame, but it places events in a context that a two-minute video cannot."
“The police were given a convincing but wholly false narrative of the incident. It was dark and Henry was wearing a dark top. The entry damage caused by the knife through it would not have been obvious …
“It is the experience of the criminal courts that sometimes someone arrested and handcuffed will feign an injury in the hope they may be released. These police officers were faced with having to make quick decisions in pressurised circumstances about the correct way to act.”
"These are the subtleties and complexities of a situation which looks much clearer now than it would have done at the time."
He's not an immigrant, he's British, and this is his country. And nothing to do with an immigrant welding a knife because that's part of his religion in his country
