Nigel’s statement. Resigning as MP. Forcing a by-election. Will stand again.

Not in the least. He knows that the minute he wins again (and he will) the investigation will start up again so there is nothing to be gained regarding that.
He wants to contest the Standards Committee decision against 'the will of the people', if he's re-elected.
But the 'will of the people' has little influence on legal matters such as this.
Parliament is supreme.
Imagine if he is penalised, (if he wins the non-contested by-election against Binface) and has to stand yet again for re-election against the major parties..
His campaign will be Farage against the establishment.

He's doing it because he wants to be able to say that "the people have spoken".
It's another "man of the people" play.

"The people" who either do not know the details, or do not care about them.

Neither of which absolves him of any culpability, should the Standards Committee find him in breach.

Isn't the reality that he is just doing this to try and sidestep facing the situation regarding his finances?

But the true reality is that whatever he does, it won't?
Interesting that it was going to be revealed that the "£5m gift to Nigel Farage by a cryptocurrency billionaire was reported to the National Crime Agency by bankers who were concerned it may have been laundered money"...

So instead garbage gave a hastily announced broadcast that was deform produced, and allowed no questions from the media...

"Farage was given a deadline of 1pm on Tuesday to respond to the Guardian about this article. He gave a video address at 2pm announcing he would force a byelection in his seat of Clacton-on-Sea"

One wonders whether garbage will appear at PMQ's, or will do another disappearing act ;)

One hopes he'll be there and kicks off on one again!

Looks to me they are all pinning their hopes on Count Binface.

It doesn't matter whether Fromage wins or loses.

What shred of legitimacy was left is gone.

If he hangs on, the questions won't stop, any more than they do for any other politician who has given cause.

And what's more, not only will it be about "skeletons in the cupboard", there will be fresh stuff coming down the road.
All of his own doing, coz it's in his nature.
He's a grifter.

There are rules. They can't just "walk-in" to any job that's offered after leaving.

If you imagine something is real and truthful, and blurt it out without thinking or verifying if it is true, don't be surprised if your claims, allegations or accusations ae checked and found to be false.

The first step in not being super gullible is to not believe everything you read on the internet.
Then stay away from such places my friend!

I like Farage, mostly. He has good intentions.

But I think he's been out-manoeuvred here and has fallen into a trap. The others are withdrawing their candidates. There will be two candidates, and Count Binface will win. Seriously.

Reform will need a new leader shortly. Which may be a good thing, possibly it could even be Lowe?

Then stay away from such places my friend!
There's no danger to me. I was referring to the gullible fools who believe everything they read on the internet without verifying it, even when it's so obviously fake contrived information.
The fake contrived abusive accusations are in the same league, so obviously fake and contrived but some fools believe it, and build further contrived accusations around it.
